Hello, I'm Phil Norman, the mobile podiatrist and I come to you.
I graduated from La Trobe University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Podiatric Practice.
Since graduating from La Trobe University I have gained extensive experience in private practice, nursing homes and home visits. I enjoy working in all aspects of podiatry.
I have a particular interest in diabetic foot care, gerontology, and sports medicine. I am passionate about delivering high quality patient centered care in the home combined with a friendly, gentle and caring attitude.
I am a member of Australian Podiatry Association and Sports Medicine Australia (APODA) and committed to professional development and continuous improvement. This ensures that I am up to date with the latest treatments and developments in podiatry.
I am based in inner Melbourne so I can do home visits within a 10 to15 kilometre radius of the CBD, and other areas can be negotiated. I am available during business hours, after hours and some weekends.
Private patients
Medicare
NDIS
EPC (bulk billed)
and DVA are all welcome
Please call if you have any questions.
When not working as a podiatrist or in my other job, (a part time elephant keeper at Zoos Victoria), I enjoy spending time with my active family. We also like to spent time cooking, doing outdoor activities, travel and keeping fit. I am an active member, volunteer and podiatrist at Brunswick athletics club.
When utilising the mobile podiatrist you have the following benefits:
Experienced in treating all age groups from children to elderly
No waiting times. A home visit eliminates the inconvenience of not only travel time, but unexpected waiting room delays if another patient has a more complex procedure.
Less exposure to outside elements. Reduced risk of coming into contact with seasonal diseases or Covid-19. No need to sit in a waiting room, social distancing, not knowing if others have been exposed to, or infected with Covid-19, and are not yet symptomatic.
Family members are involved in care. Patients know that someone they can trust and can help to monitor the care being received.
One on one care is provided. The professional they see is focused entirely on them during each session.
Staying home is easier. For people with mobility issues, even getting to appointments can be a challenge.
After treatment you will be floating on clouds.
